Hollywood’s Mr Nice Guy Michael Cera has revealed that far from being corrupted by bad boy Colin Farrell , he found him “boring”.

The Juno star bumped into Irish hunk Colin while staying at Dublin’s Merrion Hotel, when he was in town to promote 2010 flick Scott Pilgrim.

He confirmed that Colin’s sober life has stopped his wild ways.

Michael (24) told The Star: “I met Colin Farrell as he happened to be in the hotel at the time.

“We had coffee and lunch together.

“He was more mild than wild ? in fact he was boring. He was boring as hell.

“We talked about Woody Allen, because he’d just worked with him on Cassandra’s Dream.”

Dublin hunk Colin (36) ? who has been sober for eight years ? also admitted to his actor pal that the film adaptation of his 2006 movie Ask The Dust wasn’t a patch on the book.

Michael explained: “I was reading Ask The Dust, and even though he starred in the film adaptation he acknowledged that the book was better.

“God bless him for that.”

Superbad star Michael, who returns as the meek George Michael in Netflix’s reboot of Arrested Development, revealed he plans to come back to Ireland to find out more about his roots.

He said: “That was my only visit to Ireland.

“It’s amazing to go overseas for work and see all these countries, but it would be nice to go for pleasure too.

“I want to go around Dublin and its surrounds ? I’ve never gotten to explore it.

“My mother has some Irish heritage ? she’s Scottish, Irish, Dutch, English and Canadian all rolled into one.

“Her maiden name is Cockman…She got married at 19 ? I don’t blame her!”

Season 4 of Arrested Development hits Netflix on May 26.
