Today the Kurdish YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) launched an attack from their Afrin canton stronghold against ISIS in the northern Aleppo countryside. The latest advancement brings the SDF to within 30km of ISIS' Aleppo stronghold of al-Bab.
The three villages captured are Harbul, Hosh and Tal Qarah.
Kurdish Ara News says that the Jaish al-Thuwar and Jaish al-Shimal group captured Tal Qarah and Hosh whilst the YPG captured Harbul.
