The amazing Eisner-nominated Phil Noto – most recently doing the art for Star Wars series Poe Dameron – is joining the lineup for the upcoming Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC), it was announced on Monday (Jun 27).

He joins Stephanie Hans, who has said that
she is coming to Singapore
– but has not been officially announced.

STGCC also has special merchandise up for grabs this year, including T-Shirts and a con-exclusive Marvel Tsum Tsum #1 STGCC Variant Comic. No idea how it looks like yet – the

is using the normal cover, hopefully as a placeholder. Still, it’s while stocks last.

Taiwanese illustrator VOFAN – the artist behind the Monogatari series written by Japanese novelist Nisio Isin – will also be part of the convention?this year.

For toy fans, Jon-Paul Kaiser – he’s worked with Kidrobot, Toy2R and Pobber Toys to develop and produce his own characters and intellectual property – will be in town. For this year’s con, he has designed an exclusive STGCC x JPK “Captain Tigris Jackson” Pin. Oh! And perennial favourite Simone Legno will once again be gracing us with his presence.
And last but not least is artist Brooke A Allen, who has the distinction of being?STGCC’s first LGBTQIA+ guest.
Allen is most famous for her work on BOOM!’s
Lumberjanes
. The series was nominated for and won two Eisners last year, for Best New Series and Best Publication for Teens. It also was nominated for and won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comic Book.
