So that all potential suppliers are prepared to meet the demands of the organization’s biggest sporting event ever held in Brazil, and in order to enhance transparency, the areas of Procurement and Logistics of the Rio 2016™ Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games are making available to the public the Purchase Plan of the Games up to 2016.

Through the Plan, the market may consult the planned dates forecast for quote requests in the various sectors of goods and services that the organization of the Games will require up to 2016.

Purchase Plan will be an important tool to ensure the?maintaining of strict standards of transparency in these acquisitions.
