Biggin Hill has been ranked as London’s fastest growing airport for business aviation movements in recent months.

The latest Business Aviation INSIGHT report from WingX Advance shows 23% year-on-year growth in commercial business aviation at the London airport. The company says this is mainly due to more flight activity in the Bombardier and Gulfstream ultra-long range jets.

Biggin Hill is establishing itself as the preferred business aviation gateway airport for London and the City.

The increase in traffic is due to the low cost of operating flights through the airport and having no slot restrictions.

Castle Air also operates operated 650 transfers to and from The London Heliport in the first 12 months of operation.

In 2016, the airport anticipates further growth with the introduction of extended operation hours.
