Sina Sports. The squad trials of the Chinese Men’s Team ended last weekend with Xu Xin finishing first. Zhang Jike and Ma Long followed in the ranking. 

After several days of competition, the squad trials of the Chinese Men’s Team had their final two rounds last Saturday. 

In the morning round, Zhang Jike faced an important opponent, Ma Long . In their match, Zhang Jike defeated his rival in 5-2 (11-8, 11-9, 11-13, 11-7, 11-6, 8-11, 12-10). Meanwhile, Xu Xin swept Fan Zhendong in 12-10, 11-9, 13-11, 11-7, 11-8. 

Other matches in the round were: Liang Jingkun 5-3 Lin Gaoyuan, Fang Bo 5-1 Yan An, Shang Kun 5-1 Zhou Yu. 

The last round of the squad trials happened in the afternoon. In ninth round, Xu Xin scored 5-3 against Shang Kun. He finishes first with 8 wins and 1 loss. Zhang Jike also posted another victory by winning over Fang Bo in 5-1. Zhang Jike also recorded 8 wins and 1 loss but after summing up his scores, he only ranked second. 

Ma Long is third after winning in 5-1 against Zhou Yu. Fan Zhendong defeated Liang Jingkun while Lin Gaoyuan scored 5-1 against Yan An. 

Following in the rankings are Fan Zhendong, Lin Gaoyuan, Fang Bo, Zhou Yu, Yan An, Shang Kun and Liang Jingkun.
