  • Q: When Kerala Govt bans cow slaughter during Ramzan in Kerala, no body cries, but make a huge issue when meat is banned for a few days by BJP ruled States keeping in view the Jain sentiments? Why is media not understanding the ground reality but is playing into the hands of politicians on this issue?
A: Cow slaughter is banned in most of the states barring Kerala. In fact, state government took a correct step by banning it during the Ramazan so that fringe elements couldnt raise any controversy. It has nothing to do with ban.

  • Q: I read your answer about Indian judiciary being best. Almost all cases take years and judges simply shuffle papers. Justice delay is justice denied. When punishment is handed out most of the time it is in months for even serious crimes. I say judicial system does not exist in India for common people. It only exist for people in Delhi elite group. India has become punishmentless and therefore you see so many crimes, frauds, scams, babus and politician behaving like queen and king.
A: I still wouldn't blame the judiciary for justice denied. It is the police and other investigative agencies which fail to present their case forcefully and that too in time. Moreover state and central government have failed to provide enough resources to the judiciary. Indian needs more judges to deal with the rising number of cases.

  • Q: Is it fair on the part of Mr.Sadananda Gowda to say no release of Cauvery water to TN? Is he from Central government or State government? Please offer your views.
A: He is the Chief Minister of Karnataka through which the river flows. Water is a sensitive issue it also brings tears when denied. Let him say what he feels. Finally it would be decided by the Tribunal as all the rivers are owned by the central government.
