Statutes and elections are a crucial part of football governance
The 209 member associations of FIFA are the backbone of world football. In order to fulfill their national mandate to organize and develop football countrywide, the solidity and sustainability of their governance structures are the first priority. FIFA supports the members in the revision and adaptation of these structures.

CIES

CIES Headquarters – Neuchâtel, Switzerland

The CIES is an independent study centre located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It was created in 1995 as a joint venture between FIFA, the University of Neuchâtel and the City and State of Neuchâtel.
