Former Chicago Bears wide receiver Rashied Davis has paid $670,000 for a four-bedroom, 2,862-square-foot house in Libertyville.
Davis, 35, was with the Bears from 2005 to 2011 and again briefly in August 2012.
The house Davis bought, built in 1990, was listed for $715,000 in July and had its price reduced to $699,000. Features include 4-1/2 baths, a basement with a second kitchen and a family room, and custom storage areas from California Closets.
Marla Schneider, the agent who represented Davis in the deal, declined to comment.
Separately, Davis has a contract to sell his three-bedroom, half-duplex in Mundelein, which is on the market for $225,900. Davis paid $248,000 in 2006 for the home, which has 2-1/2 baths, a two-story living room and entry, walnut floors, vaulted ceilings, and a kitchen with granite countertops and maple cabinets.
Schneider also is the listing agent for the Mundelein home, which came on the market in early November.
