"Our man in Kabul", Christoph K., recently had an opportunity to make a short trip from Kabul International Airport to Bamyan and back - per aircraft.

While his plane was rolling down the runway at Kabul, a series of interesting snap-shots came into being....

Above and bellow: KLu F-16AMs as seen on the tarmac of Kabul International, armed with LGBs and carrying LANTRIN targeting pods. (All Photos: Copyright Christoph K. & ACIG.org)

Above and bellow: during the roll for take off, an Afghan Air Force Mi-17 approached for landing, touched down, and then turned around to take its place in the parking slot.
