Indonesian Flankers
In a move that was pretty surprising even for its own air force, in the summer of 2003 the Indonesian President ordered four Su-27s. The first of these arrived soon after and are now about to enter service with the TNI-AU. The following photo-report was supplied to ACIG.org by one of our local correspondents.

Tibet, 1950-1974
Aside from its commitment in Korea, in October 1950 the new People's Republic of China (PRC) turned its attention to Tibet, which it claimed as Chinese. Philippines since 1945
It might sound unbelieveable, but the Philippines have hardly seen any kind of durable peace ever since the end of the World War II: one rebellion followed the other, and there was a number of coups and dictatorships, all of which included a considerable use of air power. In the newest times the Philippino military - with US support - are involved in a fierce anti-terror war against bands of Islamic extremists. This reports reveals the details!
