This reading resource explores key skills and effective learning and teaching approaches. It covers?reading activities?to develop skills that be beneficial across curriculum areas and across levels. It was developed by Education Scotland to support all those involved in the development of children and young people's literacy skills.
Learners and staff from Pilrig Park (City of Edinburgh) and Saltersgate (Midlothian) special schools come together to moderate success criteria for early to second level Health and Wellbeing outcomes within a cafe context. Staff and learners work together to place success criteria on learning ladders, along with pieces of work ?which exemplify achievement of success criteria and progression across levels.
