Korean idol band 2PM marked the peak to their two years worth of activities in Japan by partying out at the prestigious Tokyo Dome.

The boy band, well-known for their energetic performances on stage, held their concert “LEGEND OF 2PM in Tokyo Dome” at the honorable hall in Japan on April 20 and 21?with a total of around 110,000 die-hard fans.

On the second night of the show, fans flocked to the Tokyo Dome and showed off their homemade placards and official merchandises they bought on site despite the bad weather.

Just five minutes after the scheduled starting time of 4:30 p.m., “LEGEND OF 2PM in Tokyo Dome” kicked off with some 55,000 rainbow-colored light sticks shining brightly in unison.

“Masquerade,” the band’s fifth Japan single which sold over 100,000 copies, opened the stage with 2PM members’ smooth yet appealing performance with white and brightly trimmed masks. The warmed-up stage became even hotter with the rock version of “I Was Crazy About You,” the after-love tune from the group’s first Korea studio album, “1:59 PM.”

In their following performances of Japanese tunes “Breakthrough” and “Hot,” the six energetic boys in their twenties ran out to the T-shaped stage and excited fans who filled up the huge hall all the way to the end of the second and third floors.

“Everyone, good evening, this is 2PM!” they finally shouted to which fans responded with screams. The boys expressed their excitement in short Japanese sentences.

Then with the start to “Without U,” the title tune from 2PM’s third Korean mini-album “Don’t Stop Can’t Stop,” the fans screamed out the Korean cheers of calling each member’s name one by one.

The next stage was Wooyoung’s first solo title song “Sexy Lady.” Jang’s move was surely light and skilled, which showed his ability to fill up the stage alone and explained why he became the first one to begin the first solo singing career.

The next stage was for OK CAT, the nickname for member Taecyeon, and his latest self-written song “I LOVE U, U LOVE ME.”?With four green OK CATs?dancing?on stage, the rapper showed the soft and adorable side to him and shared dance moves together with fans.

After a short break, their band sung their 2010 Korean ballad “I Can’t” written by Ra. D, one of the most beloved Korean R&B artists and songwriters.?The central stage then rose up with the string sounds of “I’ll Be Okay,” listed in the group’s latest Japan record “LEGEND OF 2PM,” and the boys approached the audiences in the central seats and upper floors.

With a loud cheering, 2PM’s Japan mega-hit tune “Beautiful” started and fans were able to take closer looks at the sensual wave of the six members on chairs, called the ‘mermaid dance.’ Then t wo bus-shaped moving carts were there for members to ride, and they filled up the empty spaces of the huge dome while singing original Japanese tune “So Bad.”

In medium-tempo songs “Missing You” and “Back 2 U,” the members showed the unique atmosphere of 2PM with six female dancers in red-dimmed beaming lights.

While revving up for Nichkhun’s solo stage, the fans prepared their light sticks in red, which is the signature color of him, to show how they care and support the Thai-born singer. Sitting in front of a grand piano, the rapper played and sang his own composition “Let it Rain” in sincere voice.

Then Jun. K showed off his skilled producing ability in his hipster-style self-written tune “TRUE SWAG.”

The premiere of the music video and first-ever performance of “GIVE ME LOVE,” the band’s upcoming sixth Japan single to roll out on May 29, heated up the stage next. The members, donning black T-shirts and bulletproof vests, exuded their manly looks and toughness.

Fans put pointed sticks into the air as “I’ll be Back” started playing in line with the boys’ choreography of putting their thumbs up.

The six men then dressed up in silk blue suits and went wilder and more powerful in “I’m Your Man,” their second Japan single released in August of 2011. Fans’ screams reached a peak when the boys unbuttoned their shirts.

“Heartbeat,” the tune which made 2PM where they stand now, was finally performed. But it was shame that their wild performances such as crawling and lying down on the stage were not like three years ago.

Chansung started his solo stage with unstable vocals but succeeded in portraying a love-wounded man with gorgeous solo dance moves.?

Junho was the one who marked the final solo stage, turning into a school boy with a crush on a girl in his self-written song “SAY YES.”?The singer, soon to mark his screen debut with Korean thriller pic “Surveillance” [translated title], boasted his soft voice and powerful moves while delivering the lovely feelings of the song to fans.

Then the boys gave duo performances yet the ?energy never cooled down during the long show and heated up even more when they performed “Ultra Lover,” the title tune from their first Japan studio album, and Korea debut title “10 Out of 10.”

On the stage up in the air, members continuously run from one side to the other to show their faces one more time to the die-hard fans who scream their hearts out and call their favorite members’ names.

Their latest Korea title song “Hands Up” shook up the great venue with fans vigorously shaking their hands and sticks. They ended the show with their Japanese songs “This is Love” and “Forever.”

The members of 2PM became speechless during their last comments from the gratitude they felt towards their Japanese fans and Taecyeon burst into tears.

“We know there are people who haven’t missed a single show from our first Zepp tour to today’s Tokyo Dome show. Thank you so much for your belief and support. And I appreciate my members who helped each other and overcame obstacles together. I’m so happy to be 2PM, and I hope we will be together forever.”

Nichkhun expressed his thanks too saying, “I appreciate you for letting me know that dream comes true when you do your best. I don’t know when I could come back here, the Tokyo Dome, but I’m so happy to have your heart. I’m so proud of you, Hottest [2PM’s official fan club’s name]!”

“My mom and brother came to see my overseas show for the first time. And other members’ parents and family members are here too. We’re so grateful for them,” said Jun. K overflowing with joy.

“Take Off” and “Hands Up” were played again for the encore performances, shaking up the big stage one last time.

Continuously hopping back and forth between their local hits to Japanese tunes, the six members successfully wrapped up the three and half hour show. They filled the show with a total of 35 songs, bringing the group’s five year’s career together and setting a new milestone for the group’s next take-off.
