K-pop sensation PSY nabbed Digital Song of the Year at 28th Golden Disk award for two years running.

Hosted by SHINee’s Minho, BEAST’s Du-jun, CNBLUE’s Jung Yong-hwa, Girls’ Generation Tiffany and Taeyeon and Anchor Oh Sang-jin, the ceremony was held at Grand Peace Palace at Kyung Hee Univeristy in Seoul on Thursday.

After the award was presented by actors Lee Jong-suk and Lee Bo-young, PSY confidently said, “It had been a long time since I met all of you but still the popularity is huge. I’ve received this award last year so I really wanted to be here tonight. I’m sorry about receiving the award through a video clip last year.”

PSY also raised expectation on his new album by saying, “I just finished recording my upcoming tune so please, look forward to that. Thank you.”

PSY’s label mate 2NE1 also attended the ceremony, receiving?Golden Disk Award Song Divison for their tune “MISSING YOU.”

Golden Disk Awards, first held in 1986, is one of the most prestigious awards in Korea that recognizes outstanding achievements of Korean music scene.
