to the list of headliners for next year’s Download Festival in the UK. The band revealed the good news via their
website
, noting they’ll be offering something special during their set: a performance of every song from their debut album, 2000’s
Hybrid Theory
.
“We have been kicking around the idea of playing
Hybrid Theory
for some time and the perfect opportunity is Download 2014,” says frontman
Chester Bennington
in a statement. “The legendary energy of the Download crowd is the apex of the rock experience and we are very excited to share this special night with them.”
The three-day Download Festival runs June 13-15 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England. The band will be performing
Hybrid Theory
in full during their set on June 14.
