K-pop idol group INFINITE took three trophies out of four weekly TV music shows over the weekend.

INFINITE’s latest title tune “Destiny” grabbed No. 1 status on Mnet’s “M! CountDown,” MBC’s “Music Core” and SBS’s “Inkigayo” during the fourth week of July, while young diva Ailee nabbed KBS’s “Music Bank” trophy with “U&I.”

All seven members of the boy band attributed the surprising honor to their dedicated fans, who patiently awaited the K-pop singers’ group activities for over a year.

In the meantime, SBS music show’s host and solo artist IU bid farewell to her emcee job, which lasted for 107 weeks until yesterday.

“Today is my last day as emcee of ‘Inkigayo,” said IU who couldn’t help but reveal a wistful smile to the playful questions by the other two emcees Kwanghee of ZE:A and actor Lee Hyun-woo.

An official with SBS told TenAsia that they’re still discussing on the emcee who will replace IU’s spot.
