The function responsible for ensuring appropriate planning and development of the Olympic and Paralympic Village, ranging from accomodation and food to transport and accreditation services.

Event Services

The function responsible for visitor services and relations during the Games. Its role includes running information kiosks and providing ad-hoc advice to visitors.

Functional area, supporting the Games Management System creation, implementation and operation.

Test Events Management

The function responsible for planning and conducting test events prior to the Games.

Planning and Coordination

The function responsible for planning, monitoring and coordinating the activities of all areas of the Organizing Committee in preparation for the Games.

Knowledge Management

The function responsible for the accumulation, storage, analysis and??transfer (both within and outside of the Organizing Committee) of knowledge obtained during the preparation and staging of the Games. It will deliver the Sochi 2014 Observer Program, OGKM seminars and other important events and services.

Risk Management

The function responsible for the assessment and minimization of risk as well as incident management during the Games.

Sustainability

The function responsible for developing sustainable development concepts for implementation in Sochi, the Krasnodar region and Russia. Responsibilities include certain measurements within the Olympic Games Impact (OGI) initiative.

Paralympic Integration

The function responsible for ensuring the effective integration of all Paralympic Games Organizing Committee departments and their activities for a successful event.

Environment

The function responsible for ensuring an integrated approach to implementing the Sochi 2014 Environment Program, which seeks to maintain and enhance the unique natural environment of Sochi.

Construction coordination and Overlay

Function responsible for coordinating construction design and planning, reporting on progress and ensuring readiness for use of Olympic facilities.

Cleaning and Waste

The function responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of Games facilities. Role ranges from clearing snow and litter to recycling waste.

Venue Facility Management

The function responsible for maintaining venues infrastructure before and during the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Food and Beverage Services

The function responsible for planning, preparation and provision of food services to client groups during the Games.

Signage

The function responsible for the design, coordination of production and installation of information signage around the Host City, Olympic village, Games venues, travel hubs and other important locations.

Transport

The function responsible for providing transportation services for clients before and during the Games, as well as for coordinating Games-related transport services with external parties.

Arrivals and Departures

The function responsible for providing a range of services related to arrivals and departures, such as assistance with air, rail and water transport.

Marketing

The function responsible for the search and selection of marketing partners, as well as overseeing transactions resulting from those relationships.??It also ensures provision of agreed services for marketing partners before and during the Games.

Ticketing

The function responsible for the sale and distribution of tickets, as well as tasks including ticket design, pricing and management of the ticket distribution system.

The function responsible for the "look" of the Host City, region and Games facilities.

Licensing

The functional area responsible for licensing, production of Olympic medals, stamps, for holding the Olympic lottery, as well as for the income that comes from the sale of products with Olympic symbols or those productes related to the Olympics.

Internet

Strategic and operating planning for internet projects, development and support.

Culture

The function responsible for all cultural events (such as festivals and forums) within the framework of Games preparations and delivery.

Education

The function responsible for the development and implementation of the??Sochi 2014 education program, a key element of the Games' legacy.

Technology

The function responsible for technological aspects of the Games, including systems integration.

Broadcasting

The function responsible for TV and radio broadcast client services during the Games, including providing the required infrastructure and facilities.

2. The full implementation of doping control systems

Accreditation

The function responsible for the planning, design and preparation of a system of accreditation, and delivering accreditation-related services for clients during the Games.

Press Operations

The function responsible for delivering services to the press and photographers. Its role also includes management of the Olympic and Paralypmic news services and Media Center.

IOC/IPC Services

The function responsible for delivery and management of Olympic and Paralympic Family requirements during the Games. Its role ranges from implementing flag and national anthem protocols to ensuring the on-site requirements of individuals are met.

Protocol

The function responsible for the provision of services for VIP Games guests.

Language Services

The function responsible for written and oral translation and interpretation.

Accommodation

The function responsible for the planning, preparation and provision of accommodation services prior to and during the Games. This includes bespoke services for different client groups such as Olympic and Paralympic Family hotel requirements.

NOC/NPC Services

The function responsible for maintaining relationships with, and meeting the requirements of National Olympic Committees and National Paralympic Committees.

Torch Relay

The function responsible for creation, planning and delivery of the Torch Relay Ceremony.

Ceremonies

The function responsible for creation, planning and delivery of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games, as well as greeting ceremonies and events including the IOC Session Opening Ceremony and team welcome ceremonies.

Brand Protection

The function responsible for the protection of the brand and its intellectual property. During the Games, it will monitor the use of Games visuals in sports and transport facilities.

Finance

The function responsible for the development of the Organizing Commitee budget, as well as for finance-related documentation such as accounting records and financial statements.

Legal

The function provides legal advice and support to the Organizing Committee across its full range of operations.

Procurement

The function responsible for Organizing Committee procurement prior to and during the Games. This includes identifying procurement needs and developing agreement processes.

Rate Card

The function responsible for tariff development, handling client orders and the return of goods following the Games.

Logistics

The function responsible for logistics planning and implementation for the??Organizing Committee and client groups prior to and during the Games. Responsibilities include the selection of a partner to develop information systems for logistics management.

The function responsible for processing requests for payments arising from unforeseen circumstances.
