Members of the 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup Team who qualified via the points list own 22 majors and four of them belong to Phil Mickelson (2005 PGA Championship and 2004, '06 and '10 Masters). The 2012 Ryder Cup will mark Mickelson's U.S.-record ninth consecutive appearance in the Ryder Cup and his ninth appearance is also an overall U.S. record. Mickelson earned the final automatic qualifying position on the U.S. Team, finishing No. 8 in the two-year point-getting process.
