The ninth installment of Neil Young's Archive Series features 12 live tracks recorded during his 1984/1985 tour just prior to and following the release of his country album, "Old Ways". Consequenceofsound.net posted that the album, called A Treasure, will be released as a limited vinyl edition on May 24th -- with the CD, Blu-ray, and digital formats becoming available on June 14th. A Treasure features five previously unreleased Young originals.
Vintage Vinyl News reported that Young and his team culled all the available bonus footage of Young performing with the International Harvesters for the package from fan shot film from the era to match the songs, with blank spots simply filled in with the album cover artwork.
We'll see Neil at Tower Theater on April 30 and May 1.
