Travel from Schiphol Airport – Rembrandtplein
By train:
A one-way train ticket from Schiphol to Amsterdam Central Station costs €3,90 (2nd class).

From Amsterdam Central Station you can travel to Rembrandtplein with tram 4 or 9 and get off at Rembrandtplein. Or take tram 16 or 24 and get off at Muntplein. From there it’s a five minute walk to Rembrandtplein. You can also travel by subway ('Metro') line 54 direction Gein and get off at stop Waterlooplein. From there it’s a ten minute walk to Rembrandtplein.
By taxi:
A taxi from Schiphol Airport to the Rembrandtplein will cost about €40,-
Public Transport
On and around Rembrandtplein there are various tram and bus stops. An OV Chip Card is necessary to travel by bus, tram and subway ('Metro'). You can purchase an anonymous card at Central Station, all subway stations, tobacco shops and supermarkets. An anonymous card is valid for five years and costs € 7,50. You have to charge this card and can always recharge it after. It’s also possible to buy temporary cards. These cards vary from 1 hour to 168 hours and vary in price from €2,60 to €29.

Taxi
There is a taxi stand on Muntplein, as well as numerous other taxistands through the city. You can also hail a taxi in the street, though this is not common practice. To order a taxi by phone call the following general number: (020) 7777777.
Bike Rental: MacBike
You can find three rental spots at:
• Waterlooplein 11 (close to Rembrandtplein)
• Weteringschans 2 (close to Leidseplein)
• Stationsplein 5 (at Central Station)
You have to deposit your ID and €50 or a print of your credit card and your ID. MacBike is opened from Monday to Saturday from 9.00am – 5.45pm. Rental rates start at €7 for three hours and €9,50 per day, which will decrease when you rent it for more days. Phone: +31 20 6200985.
