Show Summary
Jason Mason lives with his parents, his sister Jemima and his grandfather in a beautiful seaside
town called Sunnysands. They all have great fun together, but Jason and his grandpa share a
very special secret. As soon as Grandpa puts on his special cap, he shrinks to be the size of a
doll, allowing him to cause untold mischief – usually to teach somebody a lesson – whether it’s
an aunt who wants to feed them awful food or a child who won’t play fairly! Grandpa can turn up
anywhere; he can fly toy aeroplanes, drive toy cars and can even hide in Jason’s pocket, only
becoming life-size again when he takes off his hat. The series is aimed at four to six-year-olds
and each episode is full of fun with an underlying moral story. The programmes explore and
celebrate the bond children have with their grandparents and viewers will love to see Grandpa
make sure everything turns out for the best!

- Jemima Mason
– Jason’s 10-year-old sister who loves singing, dancing and acting and dreams
