Compass Group Recognised for Excellence in Strategic Account Management

Compass Group is celebrating after winning the Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA)'s Excellence Award.

The award was presented during SAMA's Pan European conference in Berlin on 11 March 2013.

The award specifically recognises "Co-Creating Customer Value" within Compass Group's International Clients Programme; a governance framework it has developed to deliver industry leading account management to large multinational clients.

Accepting the award on behalf of Compass Group, Peter Cinelli, Director of International Clients and Market Development, said: "This win is a tribute to the hard work of our teams in implementing the comprehensive framework we have developed for managing large international accounts in our industry. Co-creation, by definition, can only occur with a client organisation that fosters the appropriate environment, and therefore we thank our great clients for the opportunity to work with them on developing innovative programmes that are aligned to their critical business issues."
