We have to admit, we were kinda worried. Last month, Rachel Weisz dropped out of David Cronenberg 's brewing " Maps To The Stars ," the project that would reteam him with his " Cosmopolis " lead Robert Pattinson . The plan was to shoot the movie next month, but with Cronenberg recently  taking a role  in " I Am Love " helmer  Luca Guadagnino 's adaptation of  Don DeLillo 's novel " The Body Artist ," lensing this summer, we wondered about the status of 'Maps.' Turns out, we have nothing to worry about.

Julianne Moore, John Cusack and Sarah Gadon are all now joining the picture, which seems to be moving full steam ahead. Plot details on the movie, penned by  Bruce Wagner , have been scarce, except that it will be a trenchant look at Hollywood and celebrity culture. But Deadline adds that it's also a "ghost story," which certainly raises an intrigued eyebrow. The cast is top shelf (though it seems Viggo Mortensen is no longer taking a role, or at least isn't mentioned), with Moore and Cusack working with Cronenberg for the first time. Meanwhile, it will be Gadon's third round with the Cronenberg brood, featuring in "Cosmopolis" and " A Dangerous Method " and Cronenberg Jr.'s " Antiviral ."

The movie will be available to buyers next at Cannes and will start shooting in July. eOne will distribute the film in the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia/New Zealand.

David Cronenberg can choose from a plethora of talented A-list actors who are thrilled to be cast in his films. This cast is exceptional and Map To The Stars will interest audiences worldwide.

Cosmopolis was featured on many 2012 top ten lists and Pattinson was fantastic in the leading role.

Worried? This is Cronenberg. What is to worry about? He's going to get good actors for his films.

As for any Robert Pattinson hating going on here, funny how all of these directors want to work with him not to mention the projects he is doing. This is his 2nd Cronenberg film. He's done several non-Twilight films and has worked with A-list actors (Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, and not one person who's worked with him has a bad word about him and his performances.

He will be great in The Rover, Mission Blacklist and of course this film. Funny how there is no issue with Robert's acting in Harry Potter but Twilight...the guy can't act. Seriously sickening.

He may be often surrounded by good actors in his films, he is often the weak link in all them . It is true that he was good in Cosmopolis, but then to say that he can really act ....

Cosmopolis came and went so quickly. It had a very lukewarm reception. That's what worries me about this project.

This is a home run for a great cast. Each has a proven track record for a job well done. Nice to hear Rob Pattinson is in the running. He did a great job with very difficult material in Cosmopolis. This actor has such great promise given the right material to work with. I wish him well.

Can James McAvoy replace Pattinson and then we can truly call this a homerun?

The argument on whether Robert Pattinson can act is a tedious one. He can't. He's cardboard personified. End of story.

You can always write a letter and ask Cronenberg to replace Pattinson by McAvoy. I don't think he'll listen though. He has made clear he wanted to work with Pattinson again, because of his acting abilities. Hard to believe for you, but true nonetheless.

Monitoring your comments? You posted in every article about Cosmopolis and you insulted Rob,aparently you care, like some psycho Kristen fans that have a time to trashing him in every possible time.Something is wrong if one person is interested in actor that he/she apparently hate.I remember your stupid nick, because I've seen it over and over again.

Lol are you monitoring my comments? Also, I regularly comment on every article on this site. And I don't need to be a fan of either of these emotionless robots. I'm a fan of Crony and Moore. And I think McAvoy should do a Crony film. Does that make sense, Kanerwa? Also expand your logic- one does not have to be a fan of KStew to think her significant other is a bad actor. It could be... because, I don't know- they are both terrible actors?!

Someone force you to watching this movie? You were spamming in every Robert related article one year ago.Maybe you're Kristen fan?they're known from constantly bashing him.The cast is fantastic,Julianne will probably play Rob's mother and Sarah will be his sister. Can't wait.
