Maccabi Tel Aviv FC has reached agreement with Italian side Palermo on the transfer of Eran Zahavi. Zahavi has agreed personal terms with Maccabi on a 3.5 year deal. The Israeli international midfielder underwent a medical today (wed) and expected to finalise his contract and join the rest of the team in training.
Sports Director Jordi Cruyff told the clubs' official website: "After long and delicate negotiations, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Palermo and Eran Zahavi have co-operated in reaching agreement on Eran's return to Israel. We are delighted to be adding him to the team and welcome him to the Maccabi Tel Aviv family with open arms. We look forward to his contribution to the club's efforts in achieving its goals".
