The Twilight Zone could be returning to TV again.
EW
reports that CBS Productions is in the very early stages of development on a new version of the classic anthology series, with
Bryan Singer
(X-Men) executive producing. There is no writer attached yet, or a network ? CBS Productions is the studio side of the company, so the project wouldn’t necessarily be for the CBS network.
The original Twilight Zone ran on CBS from 1959-1964 and there have been two previous revivals, one running on CBS from 1985-1989 and the most recent on UPN, which only ran for a single season from 2002-2003.
What isn’t clear yet is how, if at all, this impact development of the new Twilight Zone movie Leonardo DiCaprio is producing at Warner Bros.
