To receive the SAORVIEW service you need an aerial and either:

Whether you are buying a set-top-box or TV, make sure it is SAORVIEW Approved.
SAORVIEW Approved products are guaranteed to work with SAORVIEW, so don’t settle for anything else.
Look out for the SAORVIEW Approved logo or ask your local retailer about SAORVIEW Approved TVs and set-top-boxes.
SAORVIEW Approved Products with satellite tuners.
There are?a number of?SAORVIEW Approved boxes and?TVs which feature an in-built satellite tuner.
These products give all the benefits of SAORVIEW Approved equipment for your SAORVIEW viewing, as well as having the functionality to decode satellite signals. This means that with the correct aerial and satellite dish, viewers can access the SAORVIEW service and all the Irish free-to-air channels, as well as a wide range of UK and European free-to-air satellite services (depending on the orientation of your dish).

Recycling your old TV set.

If you wish to upgrade to a new SAORVIEW Approved TV, your old set can be recycled for FREE across the country ? at civic amenity sites, at retail stores when purchasing a new one, and at free WEEE Ireland collection days that take place at different locations every weekend.
