Claudio Ranieri has suggested midfielder Thiago Motta will remain at Inter Milan in the current transfer window.
• Motta close to PSG switch, says agent
Motta, 29, has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 side PSG with the player's agent recently indicating a deal was close to being agreed.
However, Ranieri is keen to retain Motta's services, despite the club having yet to offer the Italy international a new contract, with his current terms to due expire next summer.
Ranieri told Sky Italia after his side lost 1-0 at Lecce on Sunday: "I've asked the club, Thiago Motta will stay. As for what I know, he will remain with us."
