Who we are
The Circuit of Ireland Rally (www.circuitofireland.net) is Ireland's oldest Motor rally and has been organised at Easter since 1931. In 1936 this event took its current name, "The Circuit of Ireland" and has run ever since, except for a few years that were prevented by war and other national emergencies. Throughout its history the rally has attracted many top competitors from all over the world, among them numerous World Champions.
The Club relies on a huge number of volunteers who give up their time to run this complex event each year and continues to battle with escalating running costs.
Circuit of Ireland Management Ltd was established in 2012 solely to promote & organise the Circuit of Ireland Rally. This new company is still managed & run, pre & on event, largely by volunteers & club members with the UAC retaining ownership of the event.?
Affiliation to the Association of Northern Ireland Car Clubs (www.anicc.org.uk) and the Motor Sports Association (www.msauk.org) are also an important part of our club life and our members serve in a variety of capacities within these two governing bodies of motorsport.
