Actress Roseanne Barr has paid $1,780,000 for a 46.33-acre farm in Hawaii, according to public records. Late last month, Barr, 54, told Reuters that she had bought a property in Hawaii that grows macadamias, quipping, “I always knew I would end up on a nut farm, and I’m going to.”
Now, Big Time Listings can report that public records show that Barr’s Big Buck Trust has purchased the farm at 47-4567 Honokaa Waipio Road in Honokaa/Hamakua, Hawaii, according to public records. Known as the Hidden Hamakua Farm, Barr’s new property includes a three-bedroom, 2,212-square-foot ranch-style house with three and half baths, a two-car, 672-square-foot garage with a loft, and ocean views, according to listing information. In addition to the Hawaii farm, Roseanne owns no shortage of other southern California properties, including a four-bedroom, 4,518-square-foot house at 360 Hillcrest Street in El Segundo, which she purchased in 2003 for $1,170,000, a three-bedroom, 3,207-square-foot house at 401 Hillcrest Street in El Segundo, which she purchased in 2005 for $1,630,000, a four-bedroom, 4,746-square-foot house at 8142 Billowvista Drive in Playa del Rey, Calif., which she bought in 2005 for $2,110,000, and two properties at 1600 Brady Road and 1648 Yosemite Drive in Lake Arrowhead, Calif., which she was awarded in 2002 after her divorce from Ben Thomas, according to public records.
