What is StyleFeeder?: StyleFeeder is a personal shopping engine that makes personal recommendations, just for you. It’s a great way to discover new products and a much easier way to find what you’re searching for! Shop millions of products and thousands of stores, all on one site that knows your style.
How do I find what I’m shopping for on StyleFeeder?: If you know exactly what you want, try the search bar on the site. If you’re more in browsing mode, check out Explorer . It’s a fun, visual way to search for apparel, accessories, shoes and jewelry. Narrow your choices by gender, price, category, brand and more. Once you’ve found what you’re looking for, click through to the retailer and purchase!
What’s a personal shopping engine?: StyleFeeder is the only site with a proprietary recommendation engine that actually learns your individual style as you shop. We pay attention as you browse and rate items, and by comparing your behavior to millions of other StyleFeeder shoppers, we’re able to show you stuff you’re likely to love. We can even order your search results to show your favorite items first! Want to learn more about how we do it? Check our tech blog and get really geeky.
What’s a StyleFeed?: A StyleFeed is a list of stuff that you want, own or covet. Many of our users treat it as a tool for organizing their shopping. You’ll have to sign in to create one. You can take it with you and place it on your web page, blog or Facebook page, if you’re into sharing your style.
What’s a Watchlist?: Your watchlist is a great way to get inspired by other shoppers you admire. Say you’re looking at Phil’s StyleFeed . If you like it, and think you’ll want to see what he adds in the future, click the “Add to your watchlist” button on their profile, and the contents of his StyleFeed will show up on your watchlist page . You can have as many people as you want in your Watchlist. Need some ideas? We’ll recommend some StyleTwins , people we’ve identified as sharing your style.
How do I add something to StyleFeeder?: Every item detail page has an orange “Add to my StyleFeed” button. Click it, and you’ll have a chance to append any relevant tags or comments before adding the item to your StyleFeed. You can also add an item you’ll looking at on your Watchlist or on someone else’s StyleFeed by clicking the green “+” sign underneath the thumbnail pic of the product.; We’ve got millions of products from thousands of stores on StyleFeeder, so there’s no need to leave the site to find what you need. We’ll even track the latest prices and recommend items that are similar to help you make your decision. But if you’d like to add items you find elsewhere on the web, use the browser buttons described on this page .
