The Oscar Charleston Chapter will hold its third annual Hotstove Baseball Symposium at Conner Prairie in Fishers on Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. The meeting is free to all White River Base Ball Team members and SABR members. Guests will have to pay $5. This year's theme is minor league baseball. A minor league player will be the featured speaker. Someone from the Indianapolis Indians will be there, too. Other presenters will talk about the minors in Indianapolis as well. Free refreshments!

Join them as they walk fields once trod by Dode Paskert, Cy Young and others. Attractions include the Hot Springs Ballpark Site Crawl, the Deadball Dice Baseball Tournament, and Hot Springs itself. We welcome research presentations on the Deadball Era, Spring Training, Arkansas baseball, or any combination of the three.
