Shakira joins education campaign around Soccer World Cup

The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) has named Grammy Award-winning artist and philanthropist Shakira an ambassador for 1GOAL: Education For All, an international campaign to ensure that all children can exercise their right to an education through achievement of the Millennium Development Goals by 2015. As a founding member of the GCE, Education International?s affiliates are raising their voices along with the 1GOAL campaigners.

Haitian teacher unionists eager to rebuild education sector
