How do I download & install the Gadget?

2. On the "File Download" dialogue box, select SAVE – do not select OPEN
3. Navigate to the location where you saved the file
4. Double click the ‘evertonfc.gadget’ file
5. On the "Do you want to install this Gadget" dialogue box, select "INSTALL"
The gadget should install and after a brief delay, populate with content.
How do I use the gadget?
Latest news will automatically appear in the Gadget. Click on a headline and a box will open up with more detail on the story. To view the associated article on evertonfc.com - click the "MORE" button and this will open the article in Internet Explorer.
How do I remove the the Gadget from my sidebar?
To remove the gadget from the Sidebar, simply place your cursor over the gadget and you'll see an "X" icon which appears at the top right hand side. Click this to close remove the Gadget from the sidebar. This doesn't uninstall it - it only removes from the Sidebar. You can always add it again from your Gadget gallery..
How do I uninstall the Gadget?
Right click on the Windows Vista sidebar, and in the Gadget Gallery that appears click on the Everton logo and select the right hand option "Uninstall".
How do I know if there is a new release of the Gadget available?
A message will be automatically displayed in your gadget's window when a new version is available. The Gadget will not display news stories until you update to the new version. To update your gadget
1. Click on the "New Version Available" link which appears at the bottom of the Gadget.
2. On the "File Download" dialogue box, select OPEN
3. On the "Internet Explorer Security" dialogue box, select ALLOW
4. Close the old (existing) Gadget by pressing the "X" by it's top right hand corner.
5. On the "Do you want to install this Gadget" dialogue box, select "INSTALL"
