Jessica Biel hails from a number of descents a€“ German, French, English, Irish and Choctaw Native American. She was born in a place name Ely, Minnesota. Her father was Jonathan Edward Biel and her mother was Kimberly Conroe. Her surname is actually the name of a German Knight a€?von Biela€™. When Jessica Biel was very young, her family re-located to Boulder, Colorado. Jessica was raised in this place only. Jessica Biel has a younger brother named Justin. She aspired to perform in musical theatres as a vocalist and got trained to become so. She even appeared in several musicals like Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Anything goes and The Sound of Music. Jessica Biel appeared in all these musicals at a very young age.
Jessica Biela€™s career started to progress as a fashion model in the year 1994, when she attended the International Modeling & Talent Association Convention that was held in Los Angeles. After completing the assignment 7th Heaven, Jessica Biel started doing projects that were focused on young adults and teens. Such films include Summer Catch released in the year 2001, Rules of Attraction that was released a year later and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre that was released in the year 2003. All these moves turned out to be mild hits at the box office. They also received mixed reviews. The reviews comprised of equal negatives and positives. The year 2005 saw Jessica Biel featuring in the film Blade: Trinity. Even this was not as successful as expected.
