Three years ago, as part of his stand-up routine, underground comedy hero Jarlath Regan started composing twisted greeting cards ("Will you marry me?...Only joking I think we should see other people"). Now the cards have been compiled in a book, How To Break Bad News , to be launched at the Sugar Club on September 12. The launch night will feature stand-up from Jarlath and special guests. In other comedy news, Jason Byrne is bringing his high-energy 'Byrne Supremacy' show to Vicar Street on October 3. On October 24, The Panel's Andrew Maxwell will play Vicar Street, after receiving five-star reviews at this year's Edinburgh festival.
