Boston won the World Series last night. By 2 a.m. ET, local media report that Boston police had made at least 37 arrests as thousands of fans swarmed the neighborhoods around Fenway Park.
"The celebration appeared milder than three years ago, when the Red Sox ended their long championship drought, but as the revelry continued into the morning, fans overturned cars and set small fires,"
The Boston Globe
reports.
So far this year, no one has been killed during the raucous celebrations.
