Alalam News website reflects the policies of Alalam satellite television. 
Launched on August 15, 2006, the website is trying to disseminate news in a sincere and impartial manner by keeping up a moderate line. In its coverage of events, Alalam News is trying to avoid stirring religious and ethnic strife.
The English website of Alalam, in addition to covering the most important global developments, presents the English-language version of top stories broadcast by the Arabic-language satellite channel.
With newsrooms in Tehran, Beirut and Baghdad, Alalam satellite channel started broadcasting in February 2003 with the slogan "Winning the Trust of Audience".

The channel's main objectives are as follows:
 

* Speedy, accurate and on-time dissemination of news
* Reviving mutual understanding, cooperation and solidarity among Muslims on the basis of common cultural identity
* Creating an appropriate climate for dialogue for the sake of greater global cultural understanding
* Providing information about the latest situation of Muslims around the world, particularly in the Middle East region

Alalam satellite channel, in dealing with the abovementioned, is trying to avoid any prejudgments and premature or biased conclusions. The channel broadcasts news, views and analyses and leaves judgment to the audience.
