Student
Financial Responsibility
Students with unpaid
balances or returned checks will not be allowed to register until they
have cleared all claims. Checks will not be accepted for a period of
one year from students who have more than one non sufficient funds check
on file. Should students register and later be found on any list showing
indebtedness to the college, they may be administratively withdrawn.

Parking Fees are not part of the published standard Tuition and Fee rates. Therefore, the Parking Fees will be billed separately from these established rates.
Effective Fall 2006, HCC charges a higher tuition rate to students registering for the third or subsequent time for certain courses.Students who enroll for most credit and CEU classes for a third or more time will be charged an additional $50 per semester credit hour and $3.00 per contact hour, except for courses exempted by The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
HCC waives
$10 per semester hour of the general fee for adults 55 years of
age and older.
Residents
of the Houston Community College System (Houston ISD, Stafford
MSD and Missouri City) are considered as in-district students
for fee purposes. To be a resident of the district, the student
must be a resident of the State of Texas for 12 months and must
live in the district. Questions concerning residency requirements
should be referred to the Campus Admissions Office or the registrar/director.
Any fees are
subject to change or reclassification at the discretion of the
Board of Trustees.
