These panoramic views of London offer an insight into a location and are the next best thing to being there.

Westminster has been the seat of the government of England for almost a thousand years.

Panoramas included are Westminster Abbey (pictured), Westminster Cathedral, Houses of Parliament, Parliament Square, the Robert Clive Statue, the Burghers of Calais and Cleopatra's Needle.

The South Bank offers arts and entertainment, riverside eating and drinking, scenic walks and millennium architecture.

These panoramas offer great views from the South Bank's riverside (pictured), the London Eye, Hungerford Bridge and the Globe Theatre.

The West End is London's main entertainment and shopping district.

Panoramas featured are Oxford Circus (pictured), Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Covent Garden market, a Soho street scene, Palace Theatre, The Ivy, Seven Dials, Church of St Giles in the Field and Centrepoint.

The numerous squares, alleyways and Georgian terraces around Bloomsbury and Fitzrovia are best explored on foot.

This section includes panoramas of a classic red phone box (pictured), Tavistock Square, Fitzrovia mural, Goodge Place, the University College London Quad, the BT Tower and Euston Station.

The area south of Tower and London Bridges has seen extensive regeneration in the last decade.

Panoramas included are City Hall (pictured), Tower Bridge, Hays Galleria and Southwark Cathedral.

City Hall

The ancient City of London is the main financial district, and was once the entirety of the city. To the west, Holborn connects City with Westminster.

Included are Temple Church (pictured), Lincoln's Inn, Temple Bar and St Pauls, Leadenhall Market, Swiss Re, Tower 42 and Broadgate Arena.
