EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. ?Now that Jeremy Shockey has had what Tiki Barber called his ?coming out party,? the Giants Pro Bowl tight end is poised to move up on several statistical lists.

Shockey caught a team-high six passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday?s 27-14 victory in Atlanta. That raised his career total to 266 catches, tying him with another outstanding tight end, Mark Bavaro, for ninth place on the Giants? career list. With his next reception, Shockey will be become No. 2 among Giants tight ends, trailing only Bob Tucker (327).

Shockey is fourth among the franchise?s tight ends in receiving yards, with 3,188. Ahead of him is Bavaro, with 3,722 yards. Tucker is first at 4,376 yards and Aaron Thomas is second with 4,253 yards.

In addition to rising on the club?s all-time lists, Shockey continues to solidify his standing as one of the NFL?s very best tight ends. His 266 catches place him fifth among active tight ends. But Shockey has played fewer seasons than any of the players ahead of him.

Shockey?s 3,188 yards place him fourth among active tight ends, behind Gonzalez (3,188), Pollard (3,975) and Brady (3,418), all of whom have played at least five more seasons than the Giants tight end. Crumpler is right behind him at 3,182,

Shockey has caught at least one pass in every game he?s played as Giant, 59 in a row in the regular season. That is the third-longest streak among active tight ends, trialing only Gonzalez (89) and Heap (60).

The visiting team has won the last 11 games in the Giants-Falcons series. That is the longest such streak in NFL history. The Giants-Atlanta series had been tied with Cincinnati and Indianapolis, a series in which the road team won 10 in a row from 1981-95.

The Giants? six consecutive road wins vs. Atlanta is tied for the longest current streak with New England (which, coincidentally, has beaten the Jets in the Giants? home stadium six consecutive times) and Minnesota, which has six straight victories in Dallas.

Barber accounted for 13 first downs on Sunday (10 rushing, three receiving). That was the highest total by an NFL player this season and the highest one-game total of Barber?s career.

Barber leads the NFL with 40 first downs (29 rushing, 11 receiving), six more than St. Louis running back Steven Jackson.

Barber?s 185-yard game in Atlanta increased his season rushing total to an NFL-leading 533 yards, 12 more than Jackson.  Barber is second in the NFL in yards from scrimmage with 723 (533 rushing, 190 receiving). He trails Jackson by 22 yards.

The Giants? seven sacks in Atlanta were the second-most for a Tom Coughlin-coached team. On Nov. 7, 1999, his Jacksonville Jaguars had nine sacks in a 30-7 victory ? also at Atlanta.

The Giants and Falcons combined for four first-quarter turnovers ? none of which resulted in points. The last Giants game with at least four turnovers in the first quarter was played on Dec. 1, 1996, when the Giants and Eagles combined for four.

Eli Manning increased his career passing yardage total to 6,134. It was his 30th career game. Kerry Collins (6,707) and Hall of Famer Y.A. Tittle (6,248) are the only other Giants quarterbacks to pass for at least 6,000 yards in their first 30 games.

Sam Madison ?s interception in Atlanta was the 32nd of his career. He is seventh among active players. Just ahead of him is his former Miami Dolphins teammate, Patrick Surtain, with 33.

The Giants play Monday night in Dallas. The Giants are averaging 151.8 rushing yards a game. The Cowboys? rushing average is also 151.8 yards a game. The two teams are tied for third in the NFL.

The Giants are second in the league in total offense, averaging 401.8 yards a game. Since the 1970 merger, the Giants? highest full season average was 367.8 yards in 1985 ? which placed them fifth in the NFL.

In the 36 seasons from 1970-2005, the Giants never finished higher than fourth in total offense. They were fourth twice: in 1971 (averaging 323.1 yards a game) and last season (361.7).
