Advice for fans attending the Derby

Goodison ParkMerseyside Police and Everton Football Club are offering advice to fans planning on attending the Derby match at Goodison Park.

On Saturday, in keeping with usual practice, there will be no segregation of the Everton and Liverpool supporters. Indeed this week a number of tickets have been on general sale.

Everton Football Club and Merseyside Police would like to stress to all supporters that whilst there is no segregation, any disorder between fans will not be tolerated and could lead to people being ejected from the stadium.

Electronic entry system

It is hoped that all supporters will behave in a manner which justifies the decision not to enforce segregation and that they all enjoy an exciting game of football.

The club are also advising all fans to get to the stadium as early as possible as the game is a sell out. The Club will also be using their new electronic entry system for season card and match day ticket holders.

It is only the second time that the system has been used by the club and officers are encouraging fans to get to the ground early to ensure they are in their seats for kick-off.

The gates open for Saturday's match at 11.15am and kick-off is at 12.45pm.
