The National Football is appropriately located in the North West of England, the birth place of football. Housed within two sides of Preston North End's Deepdale stadium, it's location also makes the museum easily accessible from all over the UK.

BY ROAD

 

The Museum is just two miles from Junction 31 on the M6 and the same distance from Junction 1 on the M55. Look out for the brown signs on main roads as you near the Museum.

There is ample free parking at the Museum for cars and coaches .

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

 
Preston is a major rail interchange on the West Coast mainline, halfway between London and Glasgow / Edinburgh. There are also regular services across country from East Lancashire / Yorkshire, Blackpool and Manchester Airport.

There is a taxi rank directly outside the railway station entrance. Journey time is approximately ten minutes.
