A native of the Canary Islands, Pedro 'Pedrito' Rodriguez looks set for a bright future in Catalonia after making a huge impact for FC Barcelona during the first half of the 2009/10 season. A confident, mobile forward with a knack of being in the right place at the right time, he scored important goals in the 2009 UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
? Left home town of Tenerife to join Barcelona academy in 2004, starting his career in the club's youth sides before graduating to the B team coached by Josep Guardiola and winning promotion from third to second division in 2007/08.
