De lander som har lagst tullar som andel av total utrikeshandel ar industrilander som EU-landerna, Kanada och Australien. Dessa tillampar dock mycket hoga tullar pa jordbruksprodukter och textilier. Utvecklingslander i Latinamerika, Afrika och Asien har hogre tullar, sarskilt historiskt.
