Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited u krijua si nje dege ne pronesi te plote te BMW ne vitin 1998 pasi BMW ia licencoi te drejtat per emrin dhe logon e markes Rolls-Royce nga Rolls-Royce Holdings plc [2] dhe fitoi te drejtat per Shpirtin e Ekstazes dhe marka tregtare ne forme grile Rolls-Royce nga Volkswagen AG . Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited ka prodhuar makina te markes Rolls-Royce qe nga viti 2003.

Edhepse marka Rolls-Royce ka qene ne perdorim qe nga viti 1906, fati i markes u ndryshua midis viteve 1998 dhe 2003. Ne vitin 2003, nendega e Rolls-Royce Motor Cars i BMW AG, i cili kishte qene nje furnizues i madh i markes deri ne 2003 filloi prodhimin e automjeteve me emrin Rolls Royce. Ne vitin 1998, Vickers vendosi te shese Rolls-Royce Motors. Bleresi me i mundshem ishte BMW, i cili tashme furnizonte motore dhe komponente te tjere per makinat Rolls-Royce dhe Bentley, por oferta perfundimtare e BMW prej 340 milion funta u mund nga ajo e Volkswagen me vlere 430 milion.

Nje kusht ne dokumentet e pronesise se Rolls-Royce diktoi qe Rolls-Royce Holdings plc, prodhuesi i aero-motoreve, do te ruante marka esenciale te caktuara tregtare, perfshire emrin dhe logon Rolls-Royce nese ndarja e automobilave do te shitej. Volkswagen ra dakord te shese Shpirtin e Ekstazise (Spirit of Ecstasy) BMW dhe marka tregtare ne forme grile dhe BMW ra dakord te vazhdoje furnizimin me motore dhe perberes deri ne vitin 2003. Volkswagen vazhdoi te prodhonte automjete te markes Rolls-Royce mes viteve 1998 dhe 2003. Kjo i dha kohe BMW per te ndertuar nje seli te re administrative per Rolls-Royce dhe objektit te prodhimit ne Goodwood Estate prane Chichester , Sussex Perendimor, dhe per te zhvilluar Phantom, Rolls-Royce-in e pare nga kompania e re. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited u be prodhuesi ekskluziv i makinave te markes Rolls-Royce ne vitin 2003.   • Nga 2010 – Ghost , model sedan me 4 dyer. Rolls-Royce njoftoi ne shtator te vitit 2006 se do te zhvillonte nje model te ri me kater dyer me emrin Ghost. Ghost do te jete me i vogel se automobili i meparshem Rolls-Royce i lansuar, Phantom. Vetem 20% e perberesve do te burojne nga BMW F01 7 Series dhe do te pozicionohet nen Phantom. [5]
  • Me 4 Mars te vitit 2014, Seria e re Ghost II u zbulua per publikun ne Panairin e Motoreve ne Gjeneve. [6] Ka pjesen e perparme te facelift me drita te perparme LED te reja. Brendesia ka pasur nje azhurnim gjithashtu.

[7] Makina e re, e quajtur Rolls-Royce Wraith (per nder te Wraith -in origjinal te ndertuar nga Rolls-Royce Limited origjinale nga viti 1938 deri ne vitin 1939) eshte nje model Coupe luksoz, me nje kapak te gjate dhe nje vije te hijshme te catise, dhe eshte nje version Coupe i Ghost. Fuqizohet nga nje motor me 623 kuajfuqi, motor V12 me dy turbo dhe i lidhur me nje kuti shpejtesie me tete shpejtesi.  Dorezimet pritej te fillonin nga fundi i vitit 2013.
