Anne Bronte (b. January 17, 1820, Thornton, Yorkshire, England?d. May 28, 1849, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England), English novelist and poet, was the youngest member of the Bronte literary family. She is best known for her her novel, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, published under her pseudonym, Acton Bell.
