Suzzanne Douglas (April 12, 1957 ? July 6, 2021) was an American actress. ^[2] She was best known for her role as Geraldine "Jerri" Peterson on The WB sitcom The Parent 'Hood . She also played Cissy Houston in the Lifetime TV movie Whitney (2015).

Douglas died on July 6, 2021, at age 64, at her home in Martha's Vineyard from pancreatic cancer . ^[3]
