Jacqueline Kennedy
. An award-winning designer, he worked for
Lanvin

Balmain
. De la Renta is mostly known for his red carpet gowns and evening wear.
De la Renta died from
cancer
on October 20, 2014 at his home in
Kent, Connecticut
at the age of 82.
