(3 April 1930 – 18 September 2015) was an
Argentine
military officer. He was a
Brigadier General
of the
Argentine Army
. After the 1982 Argentine
occupation
, he served as
Governor
of the
Falkland Islands
from 3 April until 14 June. He
surrendered
to
British
forces during the
Falkland Wars
.

Buenos Aires
.

Menendez died on 18 September 2015 at the age of 85.
