Marina Abramovi?

Marina Abramovi? ( Serbian Cyrillic : Марина Абрамови? , pronounced [mar?ːna abr?ːmo?it?] ; born November 30, 1946) is a Yugoslav-born Serbian-American performance artist and art filmmaker. ^[1] Her work are about body art , endurance art and feminist art , the relationship between performer and audience. Her career began in the 1970s. Abramovi? calls herself the "grandmother of performance art". ^[2]^[3]

Abramovi? was born in Belgrade , Serbia . She was known for having a relationship with artist Ulay . She lives in New York City .
